Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Real Estate Data Analyst to join our dynamic Real Estate Analytics Team. This is a remote position that offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to meaningful projects that impact our organization's strategic direction. As a Senior Real Estate Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing airport and corporate campus properties to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
This position serves as a subject matter expert for both internal and external customers, including Corporate Facilities, Airport Affairs, and Real Estate workgroups. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Real Estate Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading initiatives that enhance our data analysis capabilities and reporting processes. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Lead data analysis efforts and reporting initiatives, implementing procedures to improve the productivity and accuracy of our real estate analytics
- Support the development of new processes, tools, and reports to enhance the performance of Real Estate, Airport Affairs, and Corporate Facilities departments
- Conduct comprehensive analysis to drive cost improvements based on airport lease allocations and station staffing requirements
- Collect and manage raw data transforming complex information into understandable, presentable, and actionable findings suitable for all leadership levels
- Drive solutions and provide expert recommendations regarding our Real Estate analytical toolset
- Maintain and enhance the Real Estate analytical toolset, including defining content management systems, workflows, and templates while identifying appropriate access permissions
- Assist Leadership with data gathering, analysis, and reporting related to department-driven metrics and key performance indicators
- Utilize analytics platforms and data visualization tools to acquire and understand large, complex datasets surrounding company industrial and operational performance
- Work collaboratively with teammates, mentoring colleagues and partnering with other data teams across the organization
- Anticipate challenges and communicate solutions in a timely and professional manner
- Provide training to internal customers on reporting teams and methodologies
- Perform other job responsibilities as directed by leadership
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience: Advanced degree experience with proven and specialized understanding in analyst or equivalent roles
- Data Collection and Analysis: Demonstrated experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Dashboard Design: Experience designing and producing analytical dashboards and reporting tools
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Our ideal candidate brings a robust set of technical and interpersonal skills to the role:
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, financial monitoring, resource modeling, and maintenance practices
- Microsoft Office Expertise: Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas), MS Access (database queries), and PowerPoint
- Data Management: Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data, including transforming raw data into meaningful insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
- Problem Solving: Skilled in enhancing existing data solutions while balancing assigned work and ad-hoc requests
- Analytical Reasoning: Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Technical Planning: Ability to analyze design techniques, tools, and standards involved in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Statistical Analysis: Ability to apply various methodologies and high-level statistical concepts to discover new insights or refine conventional metrics
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate information (written, verbal, and visual) with all levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership
- Data Queries: Ability to collect data using both SQL and data transformation tools such as Alteryx
- Trend Analysis: Ability to identify and analyze trends in large datasets
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and demands
- Initiative: Ability to initiate projects, perform tasks, respond to inquiries, offer creative or innovative ideas, and develop new approaches to solve problems without direction or supervision
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be highly advantageous:
- Prior experience with data analysis, reporting, and data modeling in a corporate or real estate environment
- Knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and/or Python programming languages
- Familiarity with airport operations or corporate facility management
- Understanding of lease management and property analytics
