About This Role
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist at arenaflex, you'll serve as a critical partner to business stakeholders across the organization, making intelligent sourcing decisions that maximize the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend. You'll be the connective tissue that brings different segments together, creating broader opportunities than what's possible at the individual business unit level.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing cost and contractual arrangements through competitive bids and agreement negotiations. Your daily activities will include:
- Strategic Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with key executives across all business segments, advising on market engagement strategies to identify the best vendor partners
- Deal Leadership: Lead complex deal negotiations and assist in optimizing cross-segment vendor relationships that drive maximum value for the organization
- RFP Management: Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services in accordance with arenaflex policies and procedures
- Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate providers and experts based on predetermined selection criteria, analyzing bids based on total cost of ownership and delivery to identify opportunities for optimal value
- Negotiation Excellence: Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiation strategies utilizing proven Strategic Sourcing methodology to achieve favorable outcomes
- Contract Administration: Prepare and execute contracts while performing post-award administration to ensure ongoing compliance and performance
- Performance Management: Understand and assist in developing and executing performance management programs with providers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure full compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and industry best practices
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate and report to management on the status of any significant external relationships that could affect planning and decision-making
- Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends and situations that affect both internal stakeholders and external vendors and/or pricing
- Continuous Learning: Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices
- Ethical Leadership: Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all business dealings
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience: 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a minimum of 2 years in services category sourcing
- Relationship Building: Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels, from entry-level staff to C-suite executives
- Strategic Agility: Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to see the big picture and anticipate future challenges and opportunities
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis, cost modeling, and financial justification
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes in complex agreements
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and cross-functional projects
- Client Focus: Internal client awareness with a commitment to understanding and meeting stakeholder needs
- Adaptability: Ability and willingness to work in diverse environments, adapting to changing priorities and requirements
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle ambiguity and navigate complex situations with confidence
Knowledge Requirements
- Deep understanding of Sourcing & Procurement processes and best practices
- Familiarity with basic legal terms and conditions used in commercial agreements
- Knowledge of entertainment industry trends and market dynamics
- Demonstrated proficiency with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
- Proven experience drafting and executing professional services agreements
- Experience working with legal departments on topics regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following would strengthen your application:
- Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services
- Professional Services Sourcing background
- Consulting/Advisory background with understanding of professional services delivery models
- Experience in the entertainment, media, or technology industries
- Advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is required for this position.
