As a Store Development Manager, you'll be an integral part of this mission, contributing to the company's success by identifying and securing prime retail locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the store development team to develop an integrated market plan, ensuring seamless openings for new stores or remodels/renovations.
- Develop a comprehensive strategic plan to manage a regional portfolio of stores, including a regional renewal strategy.
- Prepare letters of intent or renewal, create proformas, drive territory tours with operations, negotiate LOIs, leases, and lease renewals to meet and exceed company standards.
- Meet with landlords and city representatives, proactively coordinating with design and construction partners to manage the entitlement process.
- Research new and existing submarkets through broker networks, new market surveys, and visits, responding to unsolicited site submittals.
- Track and meet performance goals and budget, accurately preparing management and pipeline reports and business plans.
- Work cross-functionally with all team members of the Store Development business unit, forging and nurturing a respectful, trusting, and collaborative relationship with the operations team.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5 years of experience in retail or restaurant new store rollout.
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and market analysis.
- 5 years of experience in project management in chain store, retail, or commercial brokerage.
- 5 years of experience in real estate deal-making and negotiations.
Preferred Qualifications

- A degree in real estate, business, finance, or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A proven track record of success in store development or a related field.
