TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST/ HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR (RECRUITER) – INTERN

TheTalent Acquisition Specialistis responsible for managing the day-to day recruiting functions for the Sales and Marketing Channels at their respective site(s). TheTalent Acquisition Specialistwill source, screen, set up interviews, and make job offers for all sales and marketing positions at their designated location(s). This position provides ongoing communication and collaboration with all hiring managers regarding the recruitment process within legal and company policies. TheTalent Acquisition Specialistalso collaborates with the Director and/or VP of Business Affairs to analyze reports and trends and to also develop and execute agreed upon recruiting strategies.

Requirements

Develops positive and collaborative partnership with the sales and marketing management channels to build a robust pipeline of talented professionals for a variety of positions for Global Merchant Services. Manages people processes for assigned clientele (quarterly and annual reporting, quarterly and annual employee engagement survey, creative planning exercises, tailored training, etc.). Conducts quarterly and annual on-going review with business candidates to assess business needs and establish and align HR strategy/ action plans as needed.

Responsible for integrating Talent Acquisition/ HR services, solutions and initiatives for business objectives. Maintain a positive employment environment by implementing all HR programs/ processes accurately and timely, ensuring consistency and fairness.

Responsible for assessing and identifying talent and assists in establishing individual action plans for future development. Partner with candidate leaders to develop plans and strategies to drive and improve performance management in an effort to align compensation to strategic goals and objectives.

Assists with the development and implementation of ongoing management and non-management training and development programs on topics such as acceptable employment practices, interview guidelines, selection processes, onboarding and retention.

Accountable to accomplish objectives, policies, and defined recruiting goals as defined by the Talent Acquisition strategy. Aggressively recruit for the best qualified candidates from a variety of sources, managing the selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates, screening and recommending the best final candidates, while filling the staffing needs within a defined timeline.
Provide a high level of customer service and guidance to the departmental hiring managers by consulting with them on recruitment and staffing issues, policies and processes. Source and screen resumes for positions in Sales, Marketing, and Training. Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to schedule interviews. Ensure timely communications with all candidates and hiring managers upfront and after the interview. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our recruiting database.

Leverage on-line recruiting resources and In-House Applicant Tracking System to identify and recruit the best candidates. Use social media and web to search for qualified candidates. Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in recruiting practices. Promote Global Merchant Services at a variety of functions such as Career/ Job Fair Events, Colleges and Universities and Sales Organizations/ Events. Build professional networks to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Qualifications For Talent Acquisition Specialist/ Human Resources Coordinator
  • Professional Human Resources certification strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience seeking talent recruitment and assisting with onboarding processes.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
  • Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
  • Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any questions a potential hire may have.
  • Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in using company software and databases to connect with and reach out to potential candidates.
  • Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies.
  • Experience working with a diverse team and striving for fairness in hiring all races, genders and age.
