Meemli is a growing 501c3 nonprofit offering innovative ways to enhance access to quality learning experiences using the power of technology, community and educators.
Meemli is seeking passionate, experienced, and certified teachers to lead small-group online academic and enrichment classes for students entering grades 5 through 8. These classes are designed to help students prepare for a strong start to the new school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver online instruction in your chosen subject area to small groups (<15 students) of middle school students.
- Participate in the curriculum development process.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of pre- and post-assessments to measure student progress.
- Create an interactive virtual classroom environment that fosters student growth.
Qualifications:
- Current teaching certification.
- Experience teaching middle school students (grades 5–8).
- Experience teaching in an online environment.
- Experience with curriculum development is a strong plus.
Meemli is looking for teachers in:
- Math
- English
- Science
- Intro to Computing
Meemli will provide the necessary support as required.
Summer class information:
- Classes will be offered in July 2025
- Classes are for 3 weeks
- Class times are between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Pacific Time), M-Th
- Time commitment is 3-12 hours a week, depending on the number of subjects and classes per teacher
Note: There may be opportunities to continue in programs in the fall and beyond.
