Who We Are
Founded in 1990, Adoptions Together is a nonprofit child placement agency licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
At Adoptions Together we believe that family is a human right. Welcoming Every Child, Every Family, Every Step of the way, our mission is to build healthy, lifelong family connections for every child and to advocate for the continuous improvement of systems that promote the well-being of children. Our vision is that every child will have lifelong connections to a caring, nurturing family.
Achieving our mission and fulfilling our vision propels us to be proactive in all areas. In March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Adoptions Together transitioned to a virtual workforce in response to the pandemic. Our dedication to children and families continued as we provided all services virtually through our well-built technological infrastructure and our adapting, devoted staff. Adoptions Together has navigated (and will continue to navigate) these 'unprecedented times' with flexibility, compassion, and grace.
