Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will be an integral part of our eCommerce team, leading innovative drives and collaborating with cross-disciplinary staff to develop and build solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include end-to-end delivery of features, ensuring that our web stores provide an exceptional customer experience. You will be working with a team of talented professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality work and driving business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of eCommerce platforms that support a remarkable customer experience using agile methodologies, software development best practices, and cutting-edge tools/technologies
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop and build solutions, ensuring that plans meet requirements and delivering high-quality work
- Prepare documentation, ensure plans meet requirements, and deliver exceptional quality work
- Drive the improvement of web applications, systems design, and architecture, utilizing your expertise in Java, JEE, Spring, APIs, and design patterns
- Work closely with colleagues to provide mentorship and support during software development, release planning, and deployment
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or software engineering
- 2+ years of experience in application development for web applications, systems design, and architecture
- Proficiency in Java, JEE, Spring, APIs, and design patterns, with experience in SQL and familiarity with the latest HTML, JavaScript, and CSS standards
- Experience with Oracle ATG Commerce or a similar platform
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on tight timelines
- Strong coding practices, including good design documentation, unit testing, and peer code reviews
- Ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments, with a passion for building and improving web store features
- Solid client focus, ownership, and drive, with excellent judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Agile training/execution skills and collaborative communication skills to work effectively in a team and provide technical leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud, Microservices, UI/UX, and Bitbucket
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins
- Experience with other programming languages and technologies, such as Python, Ruby, or PHP
