Regardless of role, we recognize that every member of our team is vital! The Virtual Visit Facilitators are a vital part of our organization and enabling us to meet our patients where they are at! This position is responsible for supporting virtual office visits, including calling patients prior to their virtual visit, helping guide patients through the technical requirements and problem-solving issues. Our team gathers pertinent medical information from the patient and details the information into the patients medical record. The Virtual Visit Facilitator also helps with registration and co-payment collection, preparing schedules and office visits and other delegated communication.
Virtual Visit Facilitator Overview
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Confirms provider calendar's by following up with patients and ensuring all pertinent medical records have been received and are available to the provider or collecting missing records
- Initiating virtual (video and telephone) visits with the patient, collecting registration and co-payment, detailing pertinent information such as the reason for their visit, health history, home medication review, health questionnaires.
- Communicates with patients, providers, and other team members remotely through phone and other technologies
- Correcting and maintaining registration error work queues.
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1-year of customer service experience
- Proficient with technology
- Private and professional appearing remote work location required
