Job description: Assistant Job Coach/Employment Specialist
Full-time & Part-time
Up to $17.50/hour
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Mercer County, NJ
Who We Need:
We are currently looking for an Assistant Job Coach to join our Team in helping to provide services to people with developmental disabilities who are looking for employment.
What We Need:
- Someone with a passion for working with and teaching/training individuals with developmental disabilities and the ability to provide direction and redirection when needed.
- Attention to detail in documentation of each consumer's progress
- Experience in vocational training in areas including: teaching, manufacturing, food service, janitorial, clerical, automotive detailing, pack & ship preferred
- Maintain general records including but not limited to attendance, production & goal setting
- Transportation of consumers to and from enclave and work sites as needed
- Maintain safe environment at all times for each consumer
- Associates Degree and/or 3 years relevant experience
- Valid driver's license (less than 3 suspensions and/or points in the past 3 years).
- Under NJ Executive order #283 must be vaccinated against COVID-19, with booster shots (based on CDC eligibility) and provide proof of vaccination.
