We are currently hiring for:

Job Title: Temporary Market Clerk - Part Time

Job Summary: The Market Clerk is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the West Liberty Foods Market. The Market Clerk will provide fast, friendly and accurate service for our customers and team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide fast friendly and accurate check out services for customers using a computerized cash register system.
• Deposits at bank.
• Promote weekly ad specials.
• Price and label product correctly.
• Load and unload product.
• Place orders with Customer Service.
• Order supplies as needed.
• Keep coolers stocked.
• Rotate product dates.
• Monthly inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment both inside and outside.

Make sure food prep is completed.

Keep Grab and go stocked and rotated.

Make sure kitchen supplies are stocked and ready to cook and prepare food for food service.

Prepare and serve food for food service and grab and go. * Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to read and write English. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must have an attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with inventory control is a plus.
• Previous retail experience a preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Computer experience is required. Experience with Google Suite a plus.
• Must practice good personal hygiene.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
