Senior Account Executive – Google Cloud (Hunter)

Location: USA (Remote within US time zones)

Role Summary

    We are looking for adrivenhunter Account Executive to build and grow our Google Cloud business in the US. The role focuses on selling Google Cloud–centric services and co-sell solutions across infrastructure, security, data & analytics, AI/ML, Gen AI, databases, and CCAI/contact center in close partnership with Google Cloud field teams.Key Responsibilities
  • Own and achieve a new-logo and expansion quota for Google Cloud–focused deals (services plus GCP consumption/marketplace).
  • Prospect, qualify, and progress opportunities through disciplined outbound, networking, and follow-up in an assigned territory or segment.
  • Collaborate with Google Cloud FSRs, AEs, CEs, and partner teams on joint account planning and co-sell motions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle with support from solution and leadership teams: discovery, shaping solution approach, coordinating proposals, commercials, and closure.
  • Position a defined set of Google Cloud offerings and our services playbook rather than “everything to everyone,” focusing on a prioritized solution set.
  • Keep CRM, pipeline, and forecasts accurate and up to date.
  • Represent the company at select Google Cloud events and targeted industry forums to generate leads and build relationships.
    Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 6–10 years of quota-carrying B2B technology sales with IT services/consulting/SI providers (8–12 years still welcome, but role is calibrated to mid/senior).
  • At least 3–5 years of Google Cloud–related sales experience (or mix of 2–3 years very strong GCP plus prior cloud services sales), with evidence of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Solid working knowledge of key Google Cloud areas: infrastructure, security, data & analytics, databases, and AI/ML/Gen AI, with the ability to bring in specialists when needed.
  • Proven hunter profile: demonstrates ability to open new accounts, land initial deals, and then expand footprint.
  • Experience selling cloud and digital transformation services (advisory, migration, data/analytics, managed services) together with cloud platform consumption is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to director, VP, and some C-level stakeholders with guidance where needed.
  • Good account and territory planning discipline, with a structured approach to prospecting and pipeline building.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field preferred; cloud sales or Google Cloud certifications are a plus.
    Google Cloud Ecosystem & Industry Focus
  • Existing working relationships with Google Cloud sales and technical teams (FSRs, AEs, CEs, partner managers) in at least one US region, or clear evidence of rapidly building such relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in co-sell motions with a hyperscaler or Google Cloud (joint account planning, deal reviews, solution workshops), even if not yet at “top-tier” strategic level.
  • Prior exposure to retail, CPG, or other consumer-centric segments is highly desirable; direct ownership of a few accounts or deals in these industries is a strong plus but not mandatory.
