Accounting Analyst – New Development


About the Role


We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to support the financial operations of New Development projects. This is an entry-level role with strong growth potential, where you will be involved in day-to-day financial activities while gaining exposure to accounting, compliance, and project operations.


The role will begin with a support-focused scope and gradually evolve into more ownership and analytical responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities




  • Support the day-to-day financial operations of multiple projects


  • Process billings, deposits, and commission payments


  • Maintain and track revenue and expense schedules


  • Assist with journal entries and monthly close activities


  • Support account and bank reconciliations


  • Assist in reviewing agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment


  • Support project-level financial tracking and reporting


  • Collaborate with internal teams (accounting, legal, operations)


  • Interact with external stakeholders such as agents and landlords when needed


  • Assist in preparing internal reports for different teams


  • Support process improvements and standardization efforts


  • Assist with audit processes and compliance controls


Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


  • 1–2 years of relevant experience


  • Strong Excel skills (required)


  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities


  • High attention to detail and organizational skills


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines


  • Strong communication and teamwork skills


Nice to have (not required):




  • Real estate experience


  • NetSuite


  • CPA
