This position is to teach EDLD 812 Leading Programs for Diverse Learners and At-Risk Students in the doctoral program.Salary is $4,215.98 for a 3-credit course. Please note that a full course is considered to have 9 students enrolled in the course. If a section is not full, 8 or fewer enrollees, the salary is prorated based on the number of students enrolled in the course.Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or a related field aligned with the preparation of scholarly practitioners. (ABD candidates with anticipated completion may be considered.)
- Significant leadership experience addressing issues of equity, access, and success for diverse and/or historically marginalized learners across educational systems.
- Demonstrated ability to approach problems of practice through inquiry, data-informed decision-making, and systems thinking.
- Experience facilitating doctoral-level learning grounded in reflection, collaboration, and applied problem-solving.
- Commitment to preparing equity-minded, change-oriented leaders
- Ability to teach on campus during the week of July 7th.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience mentoring practitioner-scholars engaged in problems of practice or Dissertation in Practice projects.
- Evidence of integrating research, policy, and professional knowledge to advance systemic improvement.
- Experience leading cross-sector partnerships or organizational change initiatives.
- Familiarity with CPED principles or EdD program design grounded in scholarly practitioner preparation.
