Summary
Lee Health, one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in Florida, is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365 to join our team. This is a remote opportunity (Florida based), allowing you to contribute to the success of a leading healthcare organization from anywhere in Florida while still supporting our mission of improving the health and well-being of our community.
As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in administering, optimizing, and supporting Microsoft 365 services – including SharePoint Online, Teams, Copilot, and O365 – ensuring secure and efficient use across the enterprise. You’ll perform upgrades, design site structures, manage permissions, and provide expert-level troubleshooting. Acting as a subject matter expert, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver creative solutions that enhance workflows and drive organizational success.
What You’ll Do:
- Configure, optimize, and support Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Design and maintain SharePoint Online sites, permissions, workflows, and BI integrations.
- Manage Microsoft tenant-wide licenses, user roles, and security settings.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals.
- Mentor team members and provide consultative guidance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven expertise with Microsoft 365 tools and services (SharePoint Online, Teams, O365, OneNote, Copilot, Planner, Loop).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Experience with Active Directory Manager and Entra ID.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience required (5 years of role-specific work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree).
Experience: 5 Years Experience (in relevant technical role).
Other:
• Some after-hours work and periodic 24x7 on call support will be required, including participating with Emergency/Hurricane Response teams as assigned.
