AutoCAD Expert Needed for 1-on-1 Training + Company Standards Setup (Integrator/Low-Voltage)
Posted 2026-05-06I’m looking for an experienced AutoCAD professional to provide 1-on-1 remote training while helping me build a complete drafting standard for my company, Alpine Custom Electronics.
I already have some AutoCAD experience and am comfortable with software in general. This is NOT a beginner course—I’m looking for someone who can help me become efficient and set up a professional system tailored to my industry.
About My Company:
We design and install:
Home automation systems (Savant, Lutron, Josh AI)
Audio/video systems (TVs, speakers, racks)
Lighting control and low-voltage wiring
Security systems (cameras, sensors)
What I Need Help With:
I want to build a complete AutoCAD workflow including:
1. Company Template (.DWT)
Layer standards (lighting, AV, control, low voltage, etc.)
Line weights, colors, plotting standards
2. Block Library Creation
TVs, speakers (in-ceiling, soundbars, subs)
Equipment racks
Keypads (Lutron, etc.)
Cameras (Axis or similar)
Other common low-voltage devices
3. Drawing Setup + Workflow
Importing and cleaning architectural plans
Overlaying systems cleanly and professionally
Organizing drawings for client and contractor use
4. Real Project Guidance
I’d like to work through at least one real project together
Screen share sessions where we build drawings live
What I’m Looking For:
Strong AutoCAD experience (required)
Experience with electrical, AV, or low-voltage drawings (highly preferred)
Ability to teach clearly and efficiently
Experience creating templates and standards
Fluent English
Project Structure:
Hourly (expected 3–6 sessions to start)
Remote sessions via Zoom or similar
Flexible scheduling
To Apply:
Please include:
A brief summary of your AutoCAD experience
Any relevant experience with AV, electrical, or low-voltage systems
Examples of templates, block libraries, or drawings you’ve created
Your availability for 1-on-1 sessions
