Simple Mining is the fastest-growing company in Iowa, making Bitcoin mining simple, profitable, and reliable for investors, institutions, and entrepreneurs. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive conversations and connect with potential Bitcoin miners and investors, focusing on outreach and engagement within the Bitcoin mining space.
Responsibilities
- Complete 80–120 daily outreach activities via calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and creative channels
- Engage with investors, institutions, funds, and entrepreneurs to qualify interest in Bitcoin mining
- Educate prospects on Simple Mining’s hosting, energy, and repair services
- Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and our Account Executives or leadership team
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and prospect targeting
- Represent Simple Mining at virtual or in-person Bitcoin and blockchain events
- Track progress and manage your pipeline in Hubspot
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or outbound prospecting, or equivalent experience in a high-performance environment
- Strong interest in Bitcoin, digital assets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) — you understand or are eager to learn the fundamentals of mining and energy infrastructure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable speaking with investors, fund managers, and business owners
- Goal-oriented mindset — you thrive on hitting daily and monthly activity targets (calls, emails, meetings booked)
- Highly coachable, with a willingness to take feedback and constantly improve
- Organized and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and pipelines simultaneously
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced startup environment
- Previous experience in sales, investing, or crypto
- Understanding of Bitcoin mining, ASIC hardware, or energy markets
- Experience with CRM and outreach tools (HubSpot, Salesloft, Salesforce, etc.)
- Active participation in the Bitcoin or crypto community (Twitter, Telegram, Nostr, etc.)
