AECI Water is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist - Water and Chemicals to drive growth of our water treatment solutions across Asia-Pacific mining markets. This role expands AECI’s presence by leveraging existing mining relationships, supporting cross-business collaboration, and delivering integrated solutions to key international customers.



About the Role




  • Grow AECI Water’s presence in international mining markets

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitor insights

  • Work closely with AECI departments to deliver integrated value propositions

  • Support market entry strategies and prioritise high-value customer targets

  • Provide post-implementation support and identify additional solution opportunities

  • Represent AECI Water at international events and industry forums



About You



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma

  • Valid Driver’s Licence



Experience (5+ years)




  • Selling water treatment technologies (chemical, biological, engineered systems, automation)

  • Meeting sales revenue and profitability targets

  • Working with mining customers and technical teams

  • Managing sales pipelines, commercial negotiations, and post-sale support

  • Strong understanding of mining processes, water management, and regulatory environments

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability

  • Strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset

  • Professional, self-driven, and adaptable to international environments

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
