Position Overview

Emerging Tech is seeking a Change Management Project Manager to support the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

This role supports the End-User Engagement and Adoption (EUEA) Change Management (CM) team by overseeing and executing project activities, deliverables, and program operations. The ideal candidate has experience supporting large-scale IT or healthcare transformation programs and brings strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and change management capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the EUEA Change Management team in execution of program activities, events, and deliverables
  • Track site activities, action items, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
  • Manage and monitor project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain change management artifacts including decks, briefs, agendas, meeting minutes, and talking points
  • Analyze change management content to identify key insights, risks, and follow-up actions
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress of CM initiatives
  • Proactively manage project execution to maintain schedule, quality, and performance targets
  • Support program reporting and executive-level briefings

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience managing IT-related projects
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience tracking cost, schedule, and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related discipline
    • OR additional 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Experience supporting Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) or similar healthcare IT programs
  • Experience in change management, user adoption, or communications within large-scale IT transformations
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks and stakeholder engagement strategies

Work Location

  • 100% Remote (U.S.-based candidates only)

Compensation

  • Salary range: $100,000 – $125,000 annually
