Inviting applications for the role of Consultant – Data Analytics Engineer
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex software and hardware systems, developing data-driven insights, and building simulation models to support performance optimization, decision-making, and system design improvements. The role bridges computing systems engineering with advanced analytics to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
• Analyze end-to-end software and hardware system performance using structured and unstructured data
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and analytical reports for system monitoring and decision support
• Design and execute simulation models to evaluate system behavior under varying conditions
• Perform root cause analysis of system failures, performance bottlenecks, and anomalies
• Work with large-scale datasets using statistical and computational methods to identify trends and insights
• Build predictive and diagnostic models using data analytics techniques
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to translate business/system requirements into analytical solutions
• Automate data collection, transformation, and reporting pipelines
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance across analytical workflows
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization initiatives
• Present insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
Qualification
(Minimum Qualification)
• BE/B Tech/MCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of Investment Management/financial services domain knowledge
Preferred Qualifications/Skill
• Data Analytics: SQL, Python/R, Spark, Pandas, NumPy
• Visualization Tools: Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• System Analytics: Performance monitoring, log analysis, telemetry data
• Simulation Tools: MATLAB, Simulink, or custom simulation frameworks
• Statistical Analysis & Machine Learning basics
• Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) preferred
• Understanding of distributed systems, hardware-software interaction
• Data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, data warehousing)

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $60000 to $75000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
