About the Role

Are you a technical expert in Windows Server platforms and hybrid infrastructure? Do you thrive on building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional technical guidance? If so, arenaflex invites you to join our team as a Customer Engineer - Windows Server Platforms. This is a fully remote position where you'll play a pivotal role in helping our enterprise clients navigate their digital transformation journeys.

In this position, you'll serve as a trusted technical advisor, delivering proactive services such as educational workshops, comprehensive assessments, and expert guidance tailored to each customer's unique needs. You'll leverage your deep expertise in Windows Server environments to train customers, share industry insights, and help them achieve their software development and technology adoption goals.   • Deliver Proactive Technical Services: Conduct education workshops, deliver assessments, and provide expert guidance to help customers maximize their technology investments and achieve their business objectives.

  • Build Customer Relationships: Develop strategic, ongoing customer relationships based on trust, respect, and proven results. Ensure that all deliverables align seamlessly with customer projects and milestones.

  • Contribute to Developer Community: Be an active member of our thriving developer community, constantly seeking ways to improve customer experiences, software development goals, and technology utilization.

  • Maintain Technical Excellence: Stay current with the latest advancements in Windows Server platforms, Azure services, and hybrid infrastructure technologies. Maintain, extend, and earn relevant accreditations and certifications.

  • Develop Best Practices: Assist in creating and documenting best practices for key technologies and products to support technical team readiness across the organization.

  • Troubleshoot and Solve Problems: Apply advanced troubleshooting and problem analysis skills to resolve complex technical challenges quickly and effectively.

  • Communicate Effectively: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Develop strategic ongoing customer relationships and gain trust and respect for arenaflex's Premier customers.

  • Technical Writing and Presentation: Possess strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled professional with a passion for technology and customer success. The ideal candidate will bring a unique combination of technical expertise, communication abilities, and a growth mindset. Here's what we require:

Essential Qualifications:


  • Technical Experience: Extensive experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and technology management. You must have a proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on-premises environments.

  • Years of Experience: 8+ years in customer-facing roles in systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer bases.

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Deep understanding of modern IT architecture and strategy, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.

  • Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including:

    • IaaS platform (networking, storage, and related services)

    • Infrastructure as Code principles and implementation

    • Azure Governance frameworks and best practices

    • Azure Migrate tools and methodologies

    • Well-Architected Framework

    • Cloud Adoption Framework



  • On-Premises Expertise: Broad knowledge of on-premises products with deep understanding of:

    • Windows Server (2012 R2 through 2025) - advanced to expert level required

    • Virtualization technologies including Hyper-V, VMware, Azure VMware Services, and Azure Stack HCI

    • Windows Client (Windows 10/11) - advanced to expert level

    • Patching and Windows Update management

    • Networking and storage fundamentals

    • Failover Clustering configuration and management

    • Windows Performance tuning and optimization

    • Blue Screen and kernel debugging techniques

    • PowerShell scripting, automation, and Desired State Configuration (DSC)

    • Remote Desktop Services (RDS)

    • Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD)



  • Certifications: Windows and Azure certifications are highly preferred. Advanced certifications will be given strong consideration.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with enterprise and government customers in highly regulated industries

  • Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid integration

  • Additional certifications in related Microsoft technologies

  • Experience developing technical training materials and conducting workshops

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize that our people are our most valuable asset, and we're committed to providing competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market considerations, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
