  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of store products, promotions, and layouts to guide customers efficiently

  • Resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty

  • Assist customers with locating items, checking inventory, and processing special orders when needed

Sales Transaction Management



  • Operate cash registers with precision and efficiency, processing various forms of payment including cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments

  • Accurately handle cash transactions, ensuring proper counting, change giving, and reconciliation at the end of each shift

  • Maintain strict security protocols to protect company assets and prevent shrinkage

  • Balance registers daily, investigating and reporting any discrepancies promptly

  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies

Store Operations and Merchandising



  • Receive merchandise shipments and assist with unloading trucks, ensuring timely and accurate stocking of products

  • Restock shelves, displays, and backroom inventory to maintain optimal product availability and store appearance

  • Follow productivity standards to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals for stocking and recovery tasks

  • Rotate stock properly to ensure product freshness and minimize waste, especially for perishable items

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management for reordering

Store Cleanliness and Maintenance



  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment at all times

  • Clean and restock restrooms throughout the day, ensuring they are well-stocked and sanitary

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the store, including sales floor, stockroom, and entryways

  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials

  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance

  • Ensure that all areas of the store are neat, presentable, and safe for customers and team members

Safety and Compliance

Physical Requirements



  • Ability to lift merchandise weighing between 30 and 50 pounds from floor level to above shoulder height

  • Capability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the store for extended periods

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting

  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
