About the Role: Customer Service Associate

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be the face of our store—the first person customers see when they walk through our doors and the last person they encounter when they leave. Your mission is to create a welcoming, helpful, and efficient experience that keeps customers coming back. Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


  • Exceptional Customer Engagement: Greet every customer with warmth and enthusiasm. Build rapport by learning names and preferences, and actively listen to understand their needs. Offer personalized recommendations and assistance to enhance their shopping experience.

  • Product and Service Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of our product offerings, promotions, and services. Stay informed about new arrivals, seasonal items, and special deals to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.

  • Efficient Transaction Processing: Operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy and speed. Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and proper cash handling procedures.

  • Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns and complaints with patience, empathy, and professionalism. Resolve problems on the spot when possible, and escalate complex issues to management when necessary to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

  • Store Presentation Excellence: Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing counters, shelves, and displays. Ensure products are properly stocked, priced correctly, and arranged according to company guidelines.

  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving shipments, checking in stock, and conducting regular inventory counts. Rotate products using FIFO (first in, first out) methods to ensure freshness and minimize waste.

  • Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale of regulated products, including age verification procedures for restricted items. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding customer information and company policies.

  • Visual Merchandising: Execute promotional displays, seasonal decorations, and sale signage according to corporate guidelines. Complete resets and planogram updates as directed by management.

  • Photo Center Operations: Provide support in the photography department, including digital photo printing, banner creation, and special photo products. Assist customers with photo services and ensure equipment is properly maintained.

  • Online Order Fulfillment: Manage web-based orders, including screening incoming orders, picking items from shelves, and preparing orders for customer pickup. Deliver orders to customers promptly as they arrive at the store.

  • Store Maintenance: Support both internal and external store appearance by keeping all areas clean, organized, and professional. Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management immediately.

  • Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with fellow team members and management. Communicate effectively, share best practices, and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Continuous Learning: Complete all required training programs and certifications. Stay current on company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
