What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a wide range of duties that keep our operations running smoothly. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Sales and Promotion: Promote and sell air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders, helping customers find the best options for their travel or shipping needs while driving revenue for the company.
- Check-In and Acceptance: Provide exceptional assistance with passenger check-in processes and cargo acceptance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while delivering a positive customer experience.
- Regulatory Compliance: Interpret government rules and requirements for domestic and international travel or cargo shipments, ensuring all documentation and processes meet legal standards.
- Aircraft Operations: Meet and dispatch aircraft within established timeframes, coordinating closely with ground crews and pilots to maintain our renowned on-time performance.
- Customer Support: Provide compassionate assistance to distressed passengers and customers, going above and beyond to resolve issues and create positive outcomes.
- Security and Revenue Protection: Protect company property and revenue while ensuring safe travel for all passengers and crew members.
- Safety Assurance: Prioritize safety in every aspect of the role, following all established protocols to maintain the highest standards of security.
- Physical Capabilities: Possess the physical ability and dexterity to use motor skills to perform various job-related tasks, including operating equipment and handling cargo.

- Equipment Operation: May be required to drive and operate air stairs up to various types of aircraft in order to enplane and deplane passengers safely.
- Team Leadership: Be responsible for the overall performance within your work area and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Operational Control: May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions including air to ground communication as well as Tower functions, ensuring seamless coordination across operations.
All You'll Need for Success: Minimum Qualifications
We're looking for dedicated individuals who are ready to take on the challenges and rewards of this role. To be considered for the Customer Service Coordinator position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language. Bilingual language skills are required in some locations and are considered a valuable asset.
- Driver's License: Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities.
- Security Clearance: Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
- Airport Badges: Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
- Availability: Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.
