Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and messages from customers, addressing billing questions, making policy changes, and providing recommendations
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly and efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of GEICO’s insurance products to effectively assist customers and identify opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling
  • Make a real difference by resolving issues and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • After completing a comprehensive 5-month in-office training and orientation, transition to a hybrid work model with the best of both worlds—spend 80% of your time in the office and 20% working remotely

Skills

  • High School Diploma required
  • Up to 3 years of prior relevant customer facing and/or service experience
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and minimum 2 years of customer facing work experience
  • Associates Degree and minimum 1 year of customer facing work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 months of customer-facing experience
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and attention to detail in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, while navigating through multiple business applications
  • Computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Active 20-44 Personal Lines license or 2-20 Property & Casualty license
  • College Degree (2-4 year)
