Position Summary
With an appropriate knowledge of the company's services and processes, a Customer Service Representative I at arenaflex works under the direct supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor to deliver the highest level of quality service to our customers. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and want to contribute to environmental sustainability while building a rewarding career in customer support.
The Customer Service Representative I receives and responds to routine residential and commercial customer calls, inquiries, requests, and complaints, which are typically general to moderately complex in nature and require limited research and investigation to reach resolution. Working in established guidelines, this position is responsible for delivering superior customer service in a prompt, respectful, and courteous manner to ensure concerns are resolved efficiently and completely.
Principal Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative I at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive Training: Successfully complete training to become knowledgeable about the waste services industry and arenaflex's processes, services, and policies. This foundational knowledge will enable you to handle customer inquiries with confidence and expertise.
- Residential Customer Support: Respond in a timely and accurate manner to routine customer service calls, ensuring that residential customer issues and concerns are treated in a respectful and professional manner. You will be the first point of contact for many customers, making your role vital in shaping their experience with arenaflex.
- Commercial Account Management: Effectively respond to routine issues regarding general commercial service changes and contract compliance matters, which may involve outbound calls and other communications to resolve simple issues including service level changes, contractual obligations, billing questions, service cancellations, price increases, and equipment issues.
- Multi-Channel Communication: Return all internal and external calls, emails, and facsimiles in a timely manner to ensure that customers' concerns are understood, addressed, and resolved in an efficient and complete manner as possible. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this area.
- Performance Monitoring: Receive and review individual performance metric reports and action plan with manager to understand individual performance. This feedback loop helps you grow professionally and meet our high standards of service.
- Data Entry & Management: Enter service and route data into computer systems for billing and route scheduling purposes. Accuracy in data entry is crucial for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- System Documentation: Log information about customer service interactions into systems; update in a timely and accurate manner so that associates are able to track services inquiries and resolution. Proper documentation ensures continuity of service and helps our team provide consistent support.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

- Location: Must reside in California and live within a commutable distance to our main office location. This position offers a hybrid arrangement, combining remote work with occasional in-office presence to maintain team collaboration and connection.

Compensation and Benefits
