Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for our valued pet parents and their beloved companions. Your warm personality, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will help ensure that every interaction with arenaflex is a positive one.   • Sales & Promotion: Sell our wide range of services and products to prospective customers, helping them understand the value of the exceptional care we provide. Your enthusiasm will be contagious!

  • Facility Tours: Conduct warm, informative tours for prospective clients, showcasing our state-of-the-art amenities and introducing them to our dedicated team members.

  • Phone Excellence: Answer incoming calls with professionalism and warmth, providing accurate information while adhering to established procedures. Your excellent telephone skills will ensure every caller feels valued.

  • Warm Welcomes: Greet clients and their pet guests with genuine excitement. You'll verify that all pet guests have current vaccination records, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all animals in our care.

  • Financial Management: Handle cash, check, and credit card payments professionally. You'll be responsible for end-of-day cash drawer reconciliation, maintaining accuracy and integrity in all financial transactions.

  • Policy Education: Explain arenaflex policies and procedures to customers in a positive, helpful manner, ensuring everyone understands what to expect from our services.

  • Problem Resolution: Respond to customer complaints with empathy and professionalism. You'll work to resolve issues satisfactorily while knowing when to escalate concerns to supervisory staff for additional support.

  • Pet Care Support: Safely escort pet guests to and from their comfortable enclosures, providing fresh water and basic care as needed throughout their stay.

  • Point-of-Sale Operations: Efficiently operate our POS system to process transactions, manage reservations, and maintain accurate records.

  • Facility Maintenance: Keep our lobby and all public areas spotless and inviting. A clean, welcoming environment is essential to the exceptional experience we provide.

  • Continuous Learning: Complete all required training programs and attend additional sessions as assigned. We're invested in your growth!

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you'll need:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)

  • Minimum of one year experience in a customer service role OR retail sales experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills – you genuinely enjoy working with people!

  • Comfortable and confident using multi-line phone systems

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Professional demeanor at all times, even during busy or challenging situations

Preferred Attributes

While not required, these qualities will help you stand out:


  • Previous experience in the pet care industry

  • Background in hospitality or veterinary客户服务

  • Certification in pet first aid or related animal care training

  • Experience with booking or scheduling systems

  • Bilingual capabilities (especially Spanish)

Physical Requirements

This role is active and requires physical engagement:


  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays – our pets need care around the clock!

  • Capability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds (think bags of pet food and supplies!)

  • Comfortable standing, walking, and climbing stairs throughout your shift

  • Confidence handling dogs on leashes safely and respectfully

  • Ability to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant chemicals, animal dander, and pet excretions (we maintain rigorous cleaning standards!)
