About This Role: Patient Care Advocate

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be more than just a voice on the phone—you will be a trusted advocate for patients navigating their healthcare journey. This position offers the unique opportunity to directly influence patient health outcomes by providing education, resolving concerns, and guiding individuals toward better health decisions.

Your primary responsibilities will include communicating the benefits of generic medications and appropriate therapy alternatives to patients, with the goal of helping them achieve overall savings while maintaining optimal health outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions and therapy changes on targeted medications, always keeping the patient's best interests at heart.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in our adherence outreach efforts, ensuring that patients remain committed to their medication regimens and understand the importance of compliance with their prescribed therapies. This position requires independent and self-directed performance while maintaining strong collaboration with your team members and healthcare professionals.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities


  • Patient Interaction: Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism while gathering essential patient and order information

  • Therapy Education: Communicate the benefits of generic medications and appropriate therapy alternatives to patients, helping them understand their options

  • Problem Resolution: Answer questions, solve problems, and provide education on healthcare topics while maintaining our company's reputation for high-quality service

  • Adherence Support: Conduct outreach efforts to ensure patients stay on their medications and remain adherent and compliant to their therapies

  • Insurance Knowledge: Apply working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing medications

  • Referral Processing: Process new referrals efficiently and accurately while maintaining detailed records

  • Customer Education: Provide comprehensive customer education and conduct routine assessments to identify problems, escalating appropriately to pharmacists when necessary

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and communications

  • Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and all governmental compliance requirements

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:


  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone

  • Technical Proficiency: 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft applications, or similar software platforms

  • Residency Requirement: Must reside in the state of Nevada

  • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Pay Range:


The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.45 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for arenaflex bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs in addition to the base pay range listed above.
