Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls with subscribers, delivering a responsive, high-quality experience
  • Manage escalated customer inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
  • Provide clear, accurate information about our publications, services, and account options
  • Track and document customer interactions to identify patterns and share actionable insights
  • Collaborate with editors, marketing, and product teams to stay informed on new offerings and evolving customer needs
  • Contribute to the customer knowledge base by documenting common issues and solutions
  • Support and mentor Tier I specialists by modeling best practices in communication and problem-solving

Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service or technical support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to stay composed under pressure
  • The drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and collaboratively
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and be coached
