Position Overview
We are currently hiring full-time Inbound Phone Customer Service Representatives to join our team reporting to a Supervisor, Customer Experience. This position offers an exciting blend of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility, making it ideal for those who value both team connection and work-life balance.
Location: Independence, IA (with hybrid work options after training)
Employment Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $15.80/hour with three automatic raises within your first 12 months, bringing your earning potential to $17.00/hour!
Work Schedule and Environment
Our standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, giving you evenings and weekends free to enjoy what matters most to you.
Training Period: Our comprehensive 8-week onsite training academy will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and tools you need to serve our customers with confidence. You'll receive all necessary equipment on your first day, including a laptop, dual monitors, keyboard, and accessories.
Hybrid Work Model: After successfully completing your training, team members who meet work-from-home requirements will enjoy a hybrid arrangement—three days onsite and two days working from home each week. You can choose which days to work from the office and adjust weekly based on your preferences.
Additional Flexibility: As you grow in your role, you can earn the opportunity to work from home up to five days a week. You'll also be eligible to participate in a bidding process for alternate work shifts, giving you even more control over your schedule.

What You'll Do
As an Inbound Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Building strong customer relationships by responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Collaborating daily with customers and Sales team members in a team-based environment to ensure seamless service
- Using computer systems and multiple software programs effectively, with periods of sitting up to eight hours per day
- Resolving customer challenges by leveraging all available resources for account selection, product identification, order placement, and order management
- Addressing pricing and invoicing discrepancies, applying appropriate credits, and implementing return procedures with accuracy and care
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Ability to commute to our facility from your home location
- A secure, dedicated workspace at home suitable for professional activities
- Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs simultaneously
- Stable internet connection with verified speeds greater than 5 Mbps upload, 15 Mbps download, and ping less than 80 milliseconds
