What You'll Do

As a Data Analyst III within our Data Insights "Know Your Customer" team, you will play a critical role in pioneering exploratory product analysis and building foundational data solutions that help us deeply understand customer behavior, preferences, and needs. You'll support the Product Management team in expanding our suite of client-centered products by identifying and evaluating new product opportunities and proposing flexible, innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Preparation & Cleaning: Clean and prepare data for analysis by removing errors, identifying anomalies, and transforming data into formats that can be effectively analyzed. You'll ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple sources.


• Exploratory Data Analysis: Investigate data and analyze it for insights using statistical methods to test hypotheses, identify trends, and create predictions. You'll dig deep into our unlimited global data to conduct thorough, meaningful research.


• Programming & Automation: Develop and generate code using programming languages, especially Python, to automate repetitive analysis tasks and build scalable data pipelines.


• Decision Support: Approach problems logically and make informed decisions based on data. You'll translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.


• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy in data analysis with meticulous attention to detail, recognizing irregularities or errors in data before they impact business decisions.


• Visualization & Reporting: Clearly communicate findings, both in writing and orally, to non-technical stakeholders. Create compelling dashboards and reports that convey insights effectively using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.


• Business Problem Solving: Develop solutions for business problems using data-driven approaches, translating raw information into strategic recommendations.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, engineers, and management leaders, understanding their needs and providing them with relevant, impactful data insights.


• Ethics & Compliance: Understand the ethical implications of data use, storage, and analysis, especially regarding privacy, security, and responsible data stewardship.

Essential Qualifications

• Strong Exploratory Data Analysis Skills: The ability to perform insightful, data-driven analysis and create meaningful recommendations and solutions from complex datasets.


• Technical Proficiency: Experience with languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets, including SQL, Python, and similar tools.


• Data Quality Experience: Background in end-user support and troubleshooting for data quality issues, with a commitment to maintaining high data standards.


• Industry Knowledge: Related experience in the retail or financial services industries preferred, with an understanding of business operations and customer behavior.


• Communication Skills: Compelling, influential oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong functional relationships across teams.
