We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded professional to fill our Part-Time Remote Data Analyst position. Position Overview

As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our business intelligence and analytics function. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing cycles and processes related to a wide variety of data sets used for information mining, text mining, and comprehensive analysis. Your work will directly enable informed business decisions that impact our operations, customer service, and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Data Analyst will include:

• Data Analysis & Mining: Under moderate guidance, plan and execute cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of information sets used for data and text mining. You will work with both structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Statistical Analysis: Gain deep understanding of key business issues and outcomes by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine data from multiple sources. You will utilize quantitative methods to validate findings and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Solution Development: With moderate direction, create solutions ranging from initial concept to production deployment. This includes designing analytical frameworks, developing models, and implementing processes that scale with business needs.
• Technology Evaluation: Really utilize current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop meaningful insights and recommendations for management. This involves staying current with industry tools, techniques, and best practices in data analytics.
• Quantitative Decision Making: Regularly use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management approaches to drive decision-making across the organization.
• Communication & Presentation: Impart results to an extensive range of audiences, translating complex technical findings into clear, actionable business insights. Present findings to leadership and cross-functional teams with confidence and clarity.
• Mentorship: Guide less senior staff and contribute to their professional development through knowledge sharing and collaborative project work.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work on cross-functional projects and initiatives, partnering with teams across the organization to solve complex business challenges.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or finance.
• Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development, and/or predictive analytics.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in analysis software and applications. You should be comfortable working with statistical software, data visualization tools, and database query languages.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• Written & Oral Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience or coursework in Agile methodologies (SAFE Agile preferred)


• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation

• Proficiency in TSQL/PLSQL for database querying
