Summary of Role


We are seeking a Data Quality & Service Management Analyst to support data cleansing, validation, and analysis activities within a service management environment. The role will focus on improving data accuracy, consistency, and governance within ServiceNow platform.


Responsibilities


  • Perform data cleansing and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

  • Analyse datasets to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and data quality gaps.

  • Support data quality reviews and ongoing data remediation efforts.

  • Assist with core review and gap analysis activities within the service management platform.

  • Update and maintain records in ServiceNow (or equivalent system).

  • Work with stakeholders to improve data standards and governance practices.

  • Document findings and provide recommendations for data improvements.

Requirements



  • Matric and a Tertiary qualification

  • Proven experience in data cleansing, validation, and analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (mandatory).

  • Understanding of data quality principles and governance practices.

  • Ability to identify gaps and support remediation activities.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks efficiently.


Skills



  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel advanced functions).

  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.

  • Basic SQL or scripting knowledge.

  • Experience supporting data governance or system optimisation initiatives.
