Embedded Software QA Engineer

    Description:
  • Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software and firmware products.
  • Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software and firmware defects.
  • Collaborate with developers to debug issues and verify fixes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
  • Support quality assurance efforts for imaging-related systems and products.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience testing in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience with Git and common platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Good documentation skills and an aptitude for learning.
  • Ability to adapt and contribute to changing priorities.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Basic proficiency in Python (preferred).
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest (preferred).
  • Experience with automated UI testing tools such as Playwright or Selenium (preferred).
  • Backend testing experience (preferred).
