What You'll Do

As an Enterprise Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining data infrastructure that handles massive volumes of data daily. Your work will support advertising operations across arenaflex.com and its subsidiaries, ensuring seamless data flow from ingestion to transformation to storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Build Robust Data Pipelines: Create and maintain flexible, scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing high-volume data to support advertising operations on arenaflex.com and all subsidiary platforms.


• Cloud Platform Development: Work on cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform for data storage, processing, and analysis, leveraging the best practices for cloud-native data architecture.


• Containerized Application Deployment: Design and deploy large-scale, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in public cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations while working alongside cross-functional enterprise development teams to deliver integrated solutions.


• Data Quality Assurance: Collaborate with different teams within arenaflex to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability for analysis and reporting for sponsors using the self-service platform.


• On-Call Support: Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation schedules to investigate production issues across cross-functional teams, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.


• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving existing processes, tools, and systems to achieve high scale and productivity. Actively contribute to raising the technical bar within the organization.


• Database Design: Design and implement data models for efficient storage and retrieval, optimizing for performance and scalability.

• Stream Processing: Experience with real-time text processing using Apache Kafka.
