Jacobs is a company focused on solving critical problems for thriving cities and resilient environments. They are seeking a driven and curious Civil Engineering Graduate to support their federal team, providing planning, engineering, and design services for various government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Support the federal team in a hybrid capacity at either the Dallas or Fort Worth, TX office
- Provide clients with planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery
- Develop site plans, utility plans, and grading plans to meet Federal design standards
- Perform watershed analyses and design stormwater management systems
- Implement designs that are compliant with a variety of regulatory code requirements and client standards
- Prepare engineering assessments, calculations, and basis of design reports
- Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians
- Gain progressive site design experience and total job understanding
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office suite
- At least one relevant internship in with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
- United States Citizenship
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
- Internship experience working on land development projects
