Position Overview: Remote Call Center Representative – Data Entry Specialist
We have an immediate opening for a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Call Center Representative to join our patient support team. This full-time position involves working from home, providing essential data entry and customer service support for our pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, possess strong keyboarding skills, and have a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Call Center Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support our pharmacy operations and ensure positive patient experiences. Your primary duties will include:
- Patient Enrollment and Data Entry: Accurately enter new patient information into our systems following state and government guidelines. You will process new patient enrollments by inputting data precisely and verifying all information for accuracy.
- Prescription Processing: Utilize arenaflex prescription data entry methods and guidelines to process new patient enrollments. You will handle patient medication requests within HIPAA regulations and enter refill orders for processing.
- Research and Resolution: Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and decipher medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions efficiently and accurately.
- Patient Communication: Handle correspondence with patients, including inbound calls, voicemails, and messages. You will also make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to resolve issues or gather information.
- Third-Party Issue Resolution: Resolve third-party issues by inspecting, collecting information, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to insurers and other parties to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve third-party issues.
- Pharmacist Support: Provide assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other locations. Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
- Compliance and Documentation: Observe regulatory working methods and perform duties according to arenaflex policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Licensure Requirements: Must obtain an active professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active professional license or certification throughout employment.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Computer Skills: Basic level computer skills, including the ability to start up and shut down a computer, use the mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access information online.
- Internet Skills: Basic web browser skills, including opening a program, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
- Keyboard Skills: Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM), with the ability to type by memory and format documents professionally.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including potential shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application and may be considered during the selection process:
- Pharmacy Experience: At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- Certification: At least one year and a half as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification organization.
