We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Clerk to join our team as a Remote Data Entry Specialist. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you'll be responsible for updating patient profiles, entering prescription information, and assisting pharmacists with prescription filling and inventory management. - *Daily Tasks and Responsibilities**
As a Certified Pharmacy Clerk – Remote Data Entry Specialist, your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting pharmacists in updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer system, ensuring compliance with Provincial regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Filling prescriptions under direct pharmacist supervision, including bringing stock bottles, counting, pouring, restocking, labeling, and pricing prescriptions, while following safety and security procedures.
- Preparing third-party insurance claims, processing invoices, and making accounting entries using our computerized system.
- Ordering, receiving, tagging, and stocking prescription drugs and supplies, adhering to product storage procedures and standards.
- Ordering, receiving, tagging, and stocking over-the-counter products in accordance with our merchandising plan for the department, creating product signs, and performing over-the-counter roaming.
- Providing remote data entry of prescriptions for all Ontario arenaflex Pharmacies.
- Assisting in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
- *Qualifications and Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Education/Training: A completed pharmacy diploma from a Community College.
- Licenses/Certifications: A certification as required by the province where applicable.
- Experience: Candidates with current pharmacy experience will be given preference.
- Required Experience: Knowledge of Kroll software is preferred.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computerized systems and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pharmacists, patients, and other team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
