  • *Job Summary:**

We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chat Administrator to join our remote team. As a Chat Administrator, you'll be responsible for moderating our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our users. This is a part-time, flexible position that offers the opportunity to work from anywhere and make a meaningful impact on our community.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to our community guidelines.
  • Delete messages that violate our rules, including but not limited to:
  • + Hate speech or discriminatory language+ Spam or self-promotion+ Harassment or bullying+ Inappropriate content or links
  • Ban users who repeatedly violate our rules, after a thorough investigation and warning process.
  • Mute users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruptions.
  • Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, and take appropriate action.
  • Manage our team of Chat Moderators, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they're equipped to handle their roles effectively.
  • Manage the Discord server when higher levels of management are not present, making decisions that align with our community guidelines and values.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Familiarity with Discord and its features, or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Experience in community management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of community guidelines, moderation policies, and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Familiarity with online safety and security best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
