About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Chat Moderator to join our remote team. As a Chat Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and safety of our Discord community by enforcing community guidelines, managing user reports, and ensuring a positive user experience. This is a part-time, flexible position that offers the opportunity to work from anywhere and be part of a dynamic team that values equality and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Delete messages made by users that violate the rules of the Discord server


• Ban users that have multiple and repeat violations of the rules of the Discord server


• Mute users that have violated the rules of the Discord server


• Investigate reports made by users about violations of the rules of the Discord server


• Monitor and respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Collaborate with the arenaflex team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies


• Stay up-to-date with arenaflex's community guidelines and policies, and ensure compliance


• Provide excellent customer service and support to users

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Must have a High School Diploma or GED


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team


• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information


• Basic understanding of community management principles and practices


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Experience in community management or moderation


• Knowledge of Discord and its features


• Experience working in a remote team environment


• Basic understanding of social media platforms and their features


• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
