• Reviewing and categorizing content to ensure accurate metadata

Our engineering group is responsible for building the Open Connect Manipulate Aircraft, a complex system that includes:

• Cloud microservices that customers interact with directly after pressing 'play'

• Services critical to making cloud video games possible
• Load-balancing algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization

We're constantly seeking answers to questions like:

• How will we design our systems to react to failure, internet traffic shifts, and other real-time adjustments?
• How do we steer traffic for live streaming over the backbone?
• How will we quality assure the most popular content to improve the viewer experience?
• What is the gold standard way to process petabytes of content into our machines to optimize their throughput?
• How must we design our streaming hardware given purchaser behavior?
