  • *Responsibilities:**

As a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, researching, processing, resolving, and responding to customer inquiries and correspondence via telephone, written communication, and/or in-person interactions.
  • Answering a diverse and high volume of health insurance-related customer calls and correspondence on a daily basis.
  • Meeting quality, quantity, and timeliness standards to achieve individual and department performance goals as defined within the department guidelines.
  • Consulting and coordinating with various internal departments, external plans, providers, businesses, and government agencies to obtain information and ensure resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Documenting and recording facts related to inquiries and correspondence by updating arenaflex files and systems.
  • Demonstrating and maintaining current working knowledge of the required arenaflex systems, procedures, forms, and manuals.
  • *Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least one (1) year of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Intermediate PC proficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and translate policies, procedures, programs, and guidelines.
