The Role: Your Mission and Impact

As a Customer Engagement & Finance Specialist at arenaflex, you will be on the front lines every month, working with hundreds of accounts that fall into gray areas where payment is delayed or uncertain. Your one mission: make sure invoices get paid. But here's what makes this role unique—it's not about hounding customers with relentless reminders. It's about digging in and fixing what's broken.

When payments are delayed, the reasons are often complex: tangled purchase orders, sales tax complications, challenging procurement portals, bureaucratic corporate hierarchies, or simple communication breakdowns. Your job is to investigate these issues thoroughly, identify the real blockers, and remove them. You'll clear the roadblocks, keep cash flowing, and ensure customers feel respected—not pressured. This is professional problem-solving at its finest, combining persistence with empathy to protect both revenue and relationships.

Key Responsibilities


  • Troubleshoot Payment Issues: Investigate missing payments by identifying root causes—whether invoice confusion, missing paperwork, sales tax mismatches, vendor delays, or technical issues. Your analytical skills will help you find the real blocker and implement solutions.

  • Client Communication (Phone + Email): Master the art of phone communication. Speaking directly with customers is faster, builds trust, and resolves issues more effectively than email alone. You'll discuss invoices and payments in a collaborative, solutions-focused way—professional, empathetic, and persistent without being heavy-handed.

  • CRM Logging & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of every call, email, and decision. Our finance, audit, and support teams depend on your documentation for accuracy and continuity. No fluff, no gaps—just crisp, comprehensive notes that anyone can follow at a glance.
