  • *What You'll Do**

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to arenaflex customers, both in-person and over the phone. Your duties will include:

  • Welcoming customers and providing assistance with their travel needs
  • Screening the ticket counter area to ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
  • Helping customers with self-service kiosks and baggage handling
  • Troubleshooting technical issues with kiosks and other equipment
  • Checking customers' baggage for compliance with FAA and arenaflex policies
  • Clearing travel documents, such as passports and visas, for international customers
  • Assisting customers with checked baggage handling, including processing credit card transactions and self-labeling
  • Managing lines and queues in ticket counter areas, based on departure times and service requirements
  • Accepting and activating customers' self-labeled baggage at the check-in station
  • Moving baggage throughout the ticket counter area, including transporting oversized bags to designated areas
  • Assisting customers with checking assistive devices, sporting equipment, and other oversized items
  • Referencing customers to customer service specialists when necessary
  • Performing freedom and confirmation of records at kiosks
  • Assisting non-mobile customers with boarding, deplaning, or other transportation needs
  • Helping unaccompanied minors with boarding, deplaning, or other transportation needs
  • Providing customers with gate information and directions
  • Performing paging exercises, such as reporting forgotten items or requesting customers to return to locked bags (at certain airports)
  • Performing other related duties as deemed functionally significant by management, consistent with the collective bargaining agreement
  • *What You'll Need for Success**
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Bilingual language skills may be required in certain areas
  • Valid driver's license, as required by local authorities
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, extensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet organization and security requirements
  • Ability to pass FAA criminal background checks to meet requirements for unescorted access to airport security ID display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Ability to obtain suitable airport power and US Customs security IDs, if necessary
  • Ability to work in the U.S.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
