  • *Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls and assisting callers with inquiries related to payment or policy status, as well as correspondence received from arenaflex
  • Providing information and assistance to customers or brokers who visit our front desk
  • Handling agency licensing transactions, including registering new brokers, address changes, and agency mergers
  • Researching and resolving customer or broker questions and problems
  • Following up with other departments to resolve problem files
  • Inputting data in a desktop database for all incoming calls
  • Assisting customers at the front desk when necessary
  • Distributing faxes and other correspondence to the department
  • Facilitating the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required
  • Participating in individual and group training designed to improve service
  • Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned
  • *Essential Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma and basic computer skills
  • 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on phone skills
  • Good interpersonal skills (both internal and external) and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • The ability to perform slightly varied moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Sound decision-making skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of insurance industry terminology and regulations
