- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Handling a high volume of customer service calls in a prompt and courteous manner
- Resolving patient questions and problems regarding patient accounts, payments, and services
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Providing outstanding customer service, deescalating conflicts, and remaining positive in challenging situations
- Taking patient demographics and other patient information as needed
- Reviewing explanation of benefit (EOB) documentation and notating accounts on collection activity to perform account resolution
- Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information
- Collecting patient payments in accordance with payment due dates and establishing payment plans within approved guidelines
- Completing and mailing necessary patient statements and return mail in a timely manner
- Creating an atmosphere of comfort and peace for patients, making it easy for them to navigate our services
- Answering all phone calls within 2 minutes of the call hitting the system
- Answering and ending all phone calls within the set dialogue parameters established by leadership
- Attending in-services, seminars, and webinars for additional education and performance improvement
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in customer service and/or call center industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Customer Service Basics or equivalent training preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deescalate conflicts and remain positive in challenging situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Internet navigation
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
