  • *Key Responsibilities:**

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling a high volume of customer service calls in a prompt and courteous manner, resolving patient questions and problems regarding patient accounts, payments, and services.
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Providing outstanding customer service, deescalating and remaining positive in all situations with difficult customers.
  • Taking patient demographics and other patient information as needed.
  • Reviewing explanation of benefit (EOB) documentation and notating accounts on collection activity to perform account resolution.
  • Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information.
  • Collecting patient payments in accordance with payment due dates and establishing payment plans within approved guidelines.
  • Completing and mailing necessary patient statements and return mail in a timely manner.
  • Creating an atmosphere of comfort, peace, and making it easy for the patient; the patient is our first business.
  • Answering all phone calls within 2 minutes of the call hitting the system.
  • Answering and ending all phone calls within the set dialogue parameters established by leadership.
  • Answering on average 65 calls a day.
  • Attending in-services, seminars, and webinars for additional education and performance improvement.
  • Maintaining regular and reliable attendance.
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year experience in customer service and/or call center industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Customer Service Basics or equivalent training preferred.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Experience working in a healthcare or patient-facing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Internet navigation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
