  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Handle a high volume of customer calls, emails, and chats in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and chat interactions
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and track call types
  • Own follow-up with customers to resolve inquiries regarding order status, shipping status, and stock availability
  • Meet or exceed customer service standards and support service levels
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume calls or call center experience required
  • Medical-related background (medical billing, claims experience, in-office experience in a medical setting) or insurance experience is a plus
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, including the ability to communicate with confidence in a clear, professional speaking voice
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated listening and comprehension skills
  • A clear team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult customer situations
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Previous experience in the optical industry is a plus
  • Ability to navigate information systems and internet
  • Strong English comprehension and a good command of grammar

  • Bilingual French speaking skills
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of optical industry products and services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
