As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients and members, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise.

  • *Your Key Responsibilities:**

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally, offering skilled problem-solving and meeting set quality standards.
  • Demonstrating courtesy and professionalism while providing accurate information to callers, ensuring a positive experience for our clients and members.
  • Handling client and member inquiries related to claims payment, status, and coverage information with expertise, providing clear and concise answers to their questions.
  • Interpreting and following client health plan protocols efficiently, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and arenaflex's policies.
  • Assisting in claims processing by backing up the claims processing area with reports and workflow queues as assigned, helping to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Checking and maintaining accurate tracer documentation, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Ensuring complete and detailed call documentation, providing a clear record of all interactions with clients and members.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions, both verbal and written, representing arenaflex with integrity and expertise.
  • Promptly returning incoming calls, ensuring that clients and members receive timely responses to their inquiries.
  • Taking on additional projects and duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • *Essential Qualifications:**

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • 1 to 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare field, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in a high-volume call center environment, with the ability to handle multiple calls and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A background in healthcare or health insurance (BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans experience is a plus), with a strong understanding of health plan protocols and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multiple systems, with the ability to quickly learn new software and technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with clients and members.
  • HMO Managed care Medicare Advantage experience would be highly valued, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly valued:

  • Experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A strong understanding of arenaflex's products and services, with the ability to effectively communicate their benefits and features to clients and members.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • *Compensation and Benefits:**

  • A competitive base pay range of $18.45 to $20.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly per our standard payroll practices.
