We're seeking a full-time Customer Support Representative to join our remote team. As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional customer experiences through phone, email, and chat support. You'll be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely and professional manner. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Connect directly with customers who reach out to us for various reasons, including assisting with pet adoption, finding the perfect toy, or resolving issues with their orders.
- Examine and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner, thinking proactively and setting follow-up meetings as needed to ensure issue resolution.
- Work with empathy, using active listening, persistence, sympathy, and thoughtfulness to customers and colleagues alike.
- Work with a willingness to learn, sharing feedback, receiving input, and working in a culture of being open to growth and development.
- Engage with partners, your immediate supervisor, and other colleagues across various levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to an engaging customer-driven culture of collaboration.
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening) in a written evaluation.
- Ability to multitask (e.g., keep a conversation on the phone while searching on the computer and taking notes) and perform well in a high-speed environment.
- Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and navigation through systems and the web to find information to assist with supporting our customers.
- Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the organization.
- Flexibility to move schedule and stay at work past 40 hours depending on the situation by the specialty unit.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive data.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications, business).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the pet industry.
- Certification in customer service or a related field.
- *Technical Requirements**
- Workspace should be sufficiently large to accommodate computer screens and be free from distractions, including any background noise that affects the customer experience.
- Workspace suitable for webcam use.
- Have a reliable wired, high-speed internet and broadband connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed). You can test your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your internet service provider. Candidates should meet and demonstrate this requirement.
