About the Content Operations & Innovation Team

The Content Operations & Innovation organization at arenaflex is dedicated to delivering exceptional content experiences to our members through efficient operational workflows and execution. We leverage our massive global scale while continuously innovating to deliver more value on screen. Within this dynamic team, we're excited to host a Summer 2024 intern on the Visual Effects (VFX) Operations team.

Our VFX Operations initiative is a growing cross-functional visual effects program built on arenaflex's innovative platform. This program optimizes the pairing of talent to responsibilities, enabling us to execute a high volume of global projects efficiently. Our VFX ecosystem encompasses a comprehensive network of assets—including VFX companies and artists—throughout the post-production environment. What You'll Do

As an intern, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating departmental needs while participating in a comprehensive program designed to provide you with the skills and experience necessary to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in business analytics, regardless of the domain. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience while contributing meaningfully to our operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately input, maintain, and organize data related to content operations, VFX workflows, and project management systems. You'll ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple platforms.


• Marketplace Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of established transactional digital marketplaces and platforms. Research industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide actionable insights.


• Strategic Support: Offer insights and recommendations based on marketplace analysis to aid strategic decision-making across departments.


• Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members to develop and refine competitive pricing strategies and operational workflows.


• Financial Modeling: Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business performance and assess potential scenarios for future initiatives.


• Forecasting & Budgeting: Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts across the organization.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across various departments to gain a holistic understanding of business operations and identify improvement opportunities.


• Communication: Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations with stakeholders at all levels.


• Live Chat Support: Provide remote customer support through live chat interfaces, addressing inquiries related to content, platform access, and basic troubleshooting.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates who are genuinely interested in working within the entertainment and streaming industry. You should be curious about global marketplace dynamics and passionate about understanding how digital platforms connect buyers and sellers of services.

Essential Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a university program or recently graduated


• Interest in global marketplace analysis and platform dynamics (buyer/seller ecosystems)


• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with software programs including Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)


• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently


• Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment


• Eagerness to learn new technologies and workflows


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
